Settings → Delete account. Type DELETE to confirm. This is immediate and cannot be undone: your cases, relationships, notes, and account are erased, on our servers and on your device.
If you signed in with Apple, you will be asked to confirm with Apple as part of deletion. That step is what lets us disconnect Flare from your Apple ID, so Flare disappears from your list of connected apps.
Yes. Settings → Privacy & data → Export my data produces a JSON file with your relationships, cases, events, preferences, and consent history.
No. Your content is sent to our AI provider only at the moment you ask for a reflection, purely to generate that response. It is not used to train models, by us or by our provider. You can turn AI processing off entirely in Settings → AI processing.
Your server data is encrypted at rest and protected by account-level access controls. On your device, cases are held in Flare's private app database and protected by your device security settings and Flare's app lock; Flare does not currently apply separate database-level encryption to case content. Analytics are off by default. The full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
Those features are not available in this version. Flare ships without camera, photo library, and microphone permissions — the app cannot request them. Paste or type the conversation instead.
On the sign-in screen, choose Forgot password and enter your email. If you originally signed in with Apple or Google, use that same button rather than a password — there is no password on your account.
To keep your conversations from being read by anyone who picks up your unlocked phone. Flare locks itself when it goes to the background.
Flare is free. There are no subscriptions and no in-app purchases in this version.
Flare's reflections are generated by an AI model and can be wrong. They are suggestions to think with, not advice to follow. If a response was harmful or badly off, please tell us at shally.liu@flareai.me — that feedback is how the prompts get better.
